Alfred Beattie
Horn and viola
Alfred Beattie is a multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, and music producer based in Dresden, ME. A lifelong career musician, Alfred graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Horn Performance from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.
He has been teaching strings, brass, sound engineering, and music production at the Music Center in Topsham since 2022.
In addition to playing horn and viola with the MSO, he is also active in the local community performing as a freelance musician and sound engineering at many local events including the Yarmouth Clam Festival, MMEA All-State Instrumental Jazz Competition, 317 Main in Yarmouth, and wherever Ocean AV/L sends him.
