The Midcoast Symphony will offer a serenade, a symphony, and a new concerto in performances January 12th and 13th. They start by showcasing the talents of MSO's woodwind and brass sections playing Serenade for 13 Wind Instruments, by Richard Strauss.

Acclaimed trumpeter Wayne du Maine will then perform an exciting concerto written specifically for him by composer Rich Shemaria. The concerts conclude with Robert Shumann's "Spring" Symphony, a joyful romantic masterpiece to greet the new year.
