FREE Tickets: January, 2023

Special Offer for MSO's January, 2023, concerts!

MSO is offering a limited number of FREE tickets for adults accompanying children at either concert: one per family on a first come, first served basis. Youth tickets (under 18) are always free.

You must reserve your free ticket in advance using the application online here during the period Jan. 7, 10:00 AM, through Jan. 13, 12:00 PM. You can also call our box office at (207) 481-0790 during that time instead. Additional adult tickets can be purchased here.

We’ll respond to all submissions within 24 hours with a ticket confirmation or to let you know if all free tickets have been distributed already.

Important Safety Precautions for MSO's concerts:

We recommend but will not require audience members to wear masks while they are inside our performance venues. This is in keeping with CDC guidelines and will change if the guidelines change.
Please do not attend a concert if you're not feeling well. We'll try to exchange your prepaid ticket if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

The Midcoast Symphony Orchestra presented four ambitious and varied programs this season, and for the last of them, Rohan Smith, the orchestra’s music director, pulled out all the stops: Joining forces with the Vox Nova Chamber Choir, the Oratorio Chorale and a balanced quartet of vocal soloists, Smith assembled an ensemble of about 160 players and singers for performances of Giuseppe Verdi’s spectacularly operatic Messa da Requiem.
